Feeding at Doem Sleing Today

For the first time, the children who are attending the feeding program at Doem Sleing are free from the scourging heat of the sun while they listen to the Bible Stories narrated to them by Teacher Kim. Judging from the way it looks, it seems that they were comfortable in the new setup of the place having a new roof installed in the area.

Trinity Christian Fellowship/HOPE Learning Center is very much thankful to the help extended by the 20 SMU students the past couple of weeks. On top of teaching the children in the center with basic English language, playing ukelele, singing and dancing; and also proper hygiene and removal of their lice; they sponsored the construction of toilets for the kids and to those whoever needs around the community.

We thank God for sending us generous hearts through the project M.U.S.E of the 20 students from Singapore Management University (SMU).

To all of you we salute and honor the privilege of enjoying your company with us. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen

A New Beginning

Trinity Christian Fellowship/HOPE Learning Center is thankful for the many blessings God has showered to the center. For the past four years of its existence God had been faithful in providing the needs of the center from the simple provision of our daily requirements to linking us to various groups, churches and individuals who volunteered to sponsor scholarships to less privileged children we are taking care in the center.

On April 29, the Lord send Rev. Raul S. Nejudne, my colleague in the Philippines, my co-pastor in the service of our Almighty King at UCCP Southern Western Leyte Conference. He came to visit us in the center some time in January, this year, and now he is back for a longer term of voluntary service.

His coming is a blessing to the center as he shares his talents and skills on top of his devotion to help me in serving the poor families we are ministering here in Phnom Penh. Rev. Nejudne is a Civil Engineer by profession and is proficient in using various computer software and technologies.

Prior to his coming, we content ourselves to share our ministries to our partners through our Prayer Newsletter in MS Word format. With his presence, we were able to produce a more colorful and presentable newsletter in pdf format prepared in Adobe InDesign, a desktop publishing software.

On top of the new format of our Prayer Letter, he also helped us create a blog-spot so that we may able to connect to our friends, prayer partners, sponsors and supporters using the world wide web.

In all the things God provided, we give Him all the glory, honor and praise!

To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen

Feeding Program at Vels Vou

This is one of the ministries of Trinity Christian Fellowship -- Feeding Program at Vels Vou. This is our way of reaching out to this community. Prior to giving food to eat, we share to the children Bible stories and lessons with the hope that its message would be understood and its values will become part of their lives.

Most families living here are squatters. Residents close to us, mostly those who are attending fellowship with us at Trinity Christian Fellowship every week, expressed their apprehensions that one of these days they would be driven out to leave the place.

So, prayed with them that God will hear their prayers that they be given a more stable and secure place to stay. Meanwhile, we share to them that they should put their trust in the Lord who created the heavens and the earth to rescue them as He did to His people in various times of history; people who call upon Him.

We shared them that the Lord is inviting everyone to call upon Him with a promise that He will answer those who trust in Him (Jer 33:3).

We invite our prayer partners to include this concern in your daily prayer time.
